Course objectives
The goal of the course is to describe tha main synthetic protocols available for the conjugation of molecules in order to produce compuonds for biological applications. Furthermore, the basic principles to characterize organic molecules by the main spectroscopic techniques (NMR, mass spectroscopy and IR) will be reviewed.

Results of learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student may design a protocol for the synthesis of a molecule characterized by the formation of an amido group or an isoster group for examples. The molecule will be also characterized by the student using NMR and/or mass spectroscopy.
